I'm not a Healer, but isn't 5 weeks a bit early to talk about pregnancy? My sister is of the opinion that 3 months is the safety zone. That means she has 7 dangerous weeks ahead of her, doesn't it?

My servant has done a very good job at tidying up my Quidditch Pitch, it looks very professional now. It's July, and the weather is perfect for games, so if anyone wants to come out I have a fleet of new brooms.

I always forget about how much I like the country house. It's miserable in Winter, but in Summer... with the bar, and the sea on the other side of my garden... yeah, I like it here. It's been nice to be lazy for a few days after Patrol, my limp is almost gone. Nothing wrong with my arms, so I can still manage a Beater's bat.

I'd almost miss it when I have to go to Italy - which reminds me - Rose, are you attending?

My Slave has asked me if a girl bound by you, Khloe Bundy, can come visit. While my instinct is to just say no immediately, I like keeping that girl happy because she works willingly. I have been very lucky with mine, she's obedient.

I'm just writing to make sure this girl Khloe is... well, trust-worthy is most likely asking too much. Rather, is she trouble? Naturally I'd make sure their visit was supervised, but I wanted to ask your opinion of her first before I permit it.

I'm moving out to my country home this weekend, since it's officially Summer and London gets stuffy. It's got more bedrooms in it too - remind me, whose Slaves am I babysitting? They better not try to form a coup under my roof.

You'll be staying with Adrian Pucey when I'm on patrol. It's not for a few weeks yet, but consider this fair warning. We will be moving out to my country home and there will be an influx of other people's Slaves. Be on your best behaviour, show them your good example.

I need to ask the opinion of my peers, particularly those of you with Slaves (though some of you refer to them as Servants).

I received a letter from Natalie McDonald, the soon-to-be wife of Adrian Pucey. She asked me if my Slave, Demelza Robins, could be one of her wedding party.

My instinct is to say no, and were it anyone else I would have already said as much, but I respect Adrian and would imagine that his wedding day would run smoother if his bride was happy. I am wary that this will seem like too much of a treat, and I am not here to be nice.

My question to you all - what would you do, in my position? Would you allow the bride of a friend to get her wish, or would you keep your Slave securely tethered?

It seems that my boat has finally come in: I've been awarded a Slave. I have yet to meet them, and know nothing - no gender, age, anything - but I think to be picky over something like this would be fickle. It better be a woman. I'm not usually the sort of person who appreciates gifts, but as this is something that I could never get for myself, I can't help but be grateful. My Lord is so generous, and for that I am most gratified.

I have to say, and this is a rarity - I'm excited. House Elves are useful, of course, but a human... it has its perks. To those of you who have Slaves already, how do you find them in comparison to an Elf? I have no intentions of freeing my Elves, but I'm still curious.
